Celebrating its 53rd year, the Grifton Shad Festival is one of North Carolina's longest-running festivals. Attendees can enjoy a variety of activities, including a parade, car show, teen pageant, petting zoo, art show, and the traditional Shad Toss. Live music performances are scheduled throughout the weekend, with acts such as Morgan & Hudson Company, The Lovesick Drifters, and All My Rowdy Friends.
